The Challenge: Coastal Wealth Advisors was managing $340M in client assets with an IT environment that hadn't been security-reviewed in 4 years. After a competitor firm in the same building suffered a ransomware attack that wiped out 3 weeks of data, Coastal's leadership reached out for an emergency assessment.
Our Approach: Our assessment revealed 3 critical vulnerabilities: an unpatched Fortinet firewall (known exploit), no EDR on 14 endpoints, and Microsoft 365 with no MFA enforcement on 2 admin accounts. We deployed CrowdStrike Falcon on all endpoints, enforced MFA across the organization, patched and reconfigured the firewall, and stood up continuous SOC monitoring — all within 5 business days.
The Challenge: A 12-provider medical practice in Coral Gables was running patient data on aging on-premises servers with no formal HIPAA compliance program. A routine HIPAA risk analysis by their compliance attorney revealed significant gaps that could result in OCR fines.
Our Approach: We conducted a full HIPAA risk analysis, remediated 17 identified gaps, migrated all patient data and clinical systems to HIPAA-eligible Azure services, implemented Azure Information Protection and data loss prevention policies, and created a formal HIPAA compliance program with policies, BAA management, and annual training.
The Challenge: Infinity Logistics operated 3 facilities across Florida — Jacksonville HQ, Tampa warehouse, and Fort Myers distribution — connected via aging MPLS links with constant VPN instability. Remote workers couldn't access ERP reliably and video calls with clients dropped constantly.
Our Approach: We designed and deployed a Cisco Meraki SD-WAN architecture across all 3 locations over a single weekend, with dual-ISP failover at each site, centralized management, and a zero-trust remote access policy using Meraki Client VPN with MFA. ERP performance improved dramatically and the MPLS contract was eliminated.
